XP server caching hostname, MAC address something.... weird issue

Ok guys I'm having a very odd issue here. I have a Windows XP server I run at my parents house, it hosts IIS, FTP, Subversion, and VNC; I use it for a bunch of different things. I'm in a different state right now going to school, when I connect to my server from my apartment I have no issues connecting to any of the services all of the time. However, sometimes when i'm at school I can only connect to the FTP. If I try and connect to the other services, like web or subversion for example, it will sit at waiting.... for ever and will not continue. However, if a friend connects a to the server from his computer on campus he can connect to any of the services np, this tells me the campus is not doing any filtering.

I believe either my laptop is doing some kind of caching or my XP server is doing some caching and the changing of locations is throwing it all off. It's really starting to drive me crazy, help!

BTW the server hostname is mixr.mooo.com (web is 81 my ISP blocks 80). Don't hax0r my box!
