| Oregon would have been in the title game had Dixon not gotten hurt (and they played Oregon when he was healthy), so I dunno how you can say they play no one. UCLA is always talented but inconsistent, but that makes them very dangerous, especially in a rivalry game. Arizona State was on the cusp in terms of making a BCS bowl, but fell just short. Oregon State is always a tough team, they have a good physical defense and are very good at running the ball, which is a recipe for beating teams with more talent.
UW is improving and should be a bowl team this year, with Jake Locker vastly improving his passing according to spring reports. Cal has the talent but seemed to pack it in last year after the first loss or two. Arizona is a question mark, they can score but not much else. Wazzu is horrible, no further explanation needed. Stanford obviously isn't very good, and their win vs. USC was a fluke, although it was a very exciting fluke.
TL;DR - The Pac-10 is underrated because no one watches their games unless it's USC playing. |
