| Current reading Thirteen by Richard K. Morgan. Not bad so far but VERY different from the Takashi novels. I am loving the Jesus land angle though a bit hard to believe.
Just Finished:
Foundation Series: Last 7 books. I am thinking of getting I Robot and reading all those novels and novellas up to foundation.
Also I find I am really into the anti-hero's. A lot of your guys suggestions are turning out awesome. I'm trying to stray a bit away from fantasy and more towards sci-fi/steam punk novels with anti-hero backgrounds right now. Edit** Oh and just finished listening to the Count of Monte Cristo. You know the movie seriously does not do this book justice. I suppose that should be obvious as no movie ever does but I am seriously wondering if I should just go back through the last 50 years or so and find all the movies which were adapted from novels that I liked and go read the books.
Both Starship Troppers and the Count of Monte Cristo are recent experiences of novel to movie adaptations that I read where the novel was extremely better. I am wondering if LOTR and the whole series is worth reading on book. Course I straying from fantasy atm..

I see now. You're one of those people that looks for reasons to be offended. It must be frustrating to go through life like that. |
