I quit EQ2 when it first released because I got tired of the bullshit everloading screens. Granted my PC was due for an upgrade, but the reason I quit wasn't choppy graphics, I just got tired of zoning 435 times in the same city to do one crappy quest.
In todays world there are a lot of options when it comes to spending ones free time, I for one don't want to waste any of it watching loading screens that can be avoided (like being rez'ed 10 feet away).
I seriously wonder how companies with so much money, who do so much market research, and hire so many industry analysts, can manage to get small, simple things so wrong.
