| Hey guys, didn't read the entire thread (just skimmed through it), so I apologize if this has been asked before.
I'm wondering if I should pick up EQ2. I just recently quit WoW because it got boring doing the same shit over and over, and I felt like the game lost its personality. My WoW guild has reformed in EQ2, so obviously I became interested. The main things I'm wondering about are:
-Does it have an atmosphere/personality like the original EQ? I'm dangerously close to nostalgia territory here, but I always loved the art style and the setting of EQ.
-Does it create a similar sense of "smallness?" In EQ, you felt insignificant because you had no idea what was out there, and when you did find out, you shit yourself.
-Finally, and probably most importantly, will I have content to consume at max level if I don't raid (might not have time) and don't tradeskill (no interest)? I'll be rolling on Antonia Bayle, where my guild is, so I won't be doing a PvP server.
I quit EQ only because my guild quit and my server was such a shitpile that I either didn't know anyone else or didn't want to be in a guild with everyone else. Thanks for your help. |
