I just had to bring some reality into this thread.

I don't see anything wrong with resubbing after already being ripped off to kill some time, like I said.

Vanguard fans are a cult, the people who discuss it are a cult. This is also something that will never change.

Ill bite and expand a little more. I hadn't checked up on Vanguard personally in over half a year. I logged into Sartok, with my unknowingly subscribed account, only to reminisce about the old community with 1 remaining in-game acquaintance. We discussed the time line of the communities dissolution, and frankly it pissed us off.

We came to the conclusion that Vanguard did not fail at launch, but rather the development team failed to deliver meaningful content in a timely fashion. The initial Vanguard community will never be recaptured, and in an already mediocre game, it spells nothing for Vanguard's future. All we had to do was remember the 100 guilds and factions that quit and will never return. People held out for SO LONG and Sigil/SOE couldn't even shovel up their own shit to serve us. They had NOTHING.

This game is not deserving of any support. The post-launch handling of Vanguard is where the tragedy lies.

The outrageous gross mismanagement of post-launch Vanguard development is all the reasons we need to stay away from it. I still cannot believe all the people who stuck around WAITING for something that was never going to come. It just defies humanity.

So I see this thread, and I see a few of the same cultists spewing McQuaid level garbage about the state of the game. So I figured I would give my refreshed perspective on it.
