Keep in mind this game does not issue retard water wings when you order the soup. Its not WoW. If anything its more like EQ and what EQ should be if it was redone. All the people bitching about missing EQ would probably enjoy Vanguard at this stage. Just don't expect WoW because its nothing like it. Its also nothing like the original EQ but a nice combination of both.
Best thing about Vanguard: Class diversity and they are all well done and the other players. Every PUG I've been in so far has been outstanding. The retard quotient is much lower here the players are more mature and more experienced. |
Couldn't agree more. Everyone seemed to expect a wow killer at first. But it's completely opposite in a way. Everyone wanted the new EQ.(Verant style) Vanguard is actually just that, the new Everquest (2). Just take a notice to all previous posts the last couple of years of how people "miss" the bugs of EQ, how the bugs made the game how it was, and made you miss it! (Let's get a old rule server!~)
People.. the potential is here, and was there at the beginning. And now when people are starting to re-up and servers are getting more crowded....the devs
will take notice. ($$)
It's just gonna get better. So if you feel like giving it another go, I would recommend it at the warmest. If you keep an open mind, I bet you won't get disappointed.
I've never wrote this much on the fohboard before, cause of my accent...
But I'm no noob to mmos, so don't mind my postcount.
