Yes, bombs kill people. Scatterbombs(or whatever the fuck they're called) kill a lot of additional people if they get near them (considering they're big yellow cans I would assume the natural instinct is to not fuck with them.) War destroys faith.

The real problem is the entire region had been fucked for a long while, and most people fear that the powderkeg is going to blow up. Eek!
