| Based upon reading the beta (or Tech Beta -I forget) forums 2-4 weeks ago, I'd hazard a guess that not more than 100 people actually got patched up and into the game during the 5-hour "Tech Beta" things. I do believe the beta forums are now discontinued, which says all sorts of bad things about FunCom and their intent to "communicate" with their playerbase.
The cynical side of me likes to think that FunCom deliberately released huge patches on the day of the "Test" and then pulled the plug on their patch servers just to severely limit the playing population (or at least assure that only those on a T3 line could DL the patch before the "Test" was over). |
