Be lazy and don't have to type in &fmt=18 at the end of every url. There also exist a firefox extension and greasemonkey script that does the same thing. I rather change the option tho. Some videos do not have a =18 version, but there is a =12 option which you won't get if you type in =18. There were a few videos that I tried playing using the fmt=18 option that would not play. Just hangs on 'contacting host'. Looks like it's trying to see if the video is available and it isn't, weither there is a problem with the delivery system or maybe that quality of video just doesn't exist, it does nothing.
