I was 14 when I started playing EQ. I was kind of dumb. I rolled a Cleric because I wanted to melee and be able to take a beating with Plate...I didn't even really know they were healers. Guess I should have read the manual. Soandso may have influenced me as well. Anyway, I joined a guild eventually and all that, and they gave me a midnight mallet, it was sweet. Also, I solo'd like mad with that guy. From crocs in Oasis to camping the Gnomes in Lfay all the way to giant skeletons in Rathe...which is where I met some nice dudes, one another Cleric who tutored me over the next week. They were killing the gypsies at the camp near the entrance.
