| Wow probably has a higher number of kids, but the % of kids vs 20+ is probably rather close to most other mmos, maybe barring lotr due to the IP. It's just that since there's more, and kids tend to be loud idiots too, you notice them more on wow.
Also as far as I remember, AoC is going to get a 16+ rating. While it doesn't mean you won't meet 12yo playing it, it also means it's definitlely not aimed at them.
The movies would give a 25-30ish years old playerbase, the books probably even older.
And the graphical style is much different from wow and stuff, it's trying more for a gritty dark world than the colorful wow, or even warhammer. |
