You can replace the Ministrel with a Loremaster, too. The LM won't be able to solo-heal when doing some of the book-quests, but for normal content it's fine, with added benefit of crowd-control, debuffs and pet.

I duoed with a Champ while playing my LM for quite a while and it worked great (until I stoped playing around 35).
