First of all, I wanted to give the props up to Rytan, whom I found out is the man responsible for the Plane of Tactics. Please put STAMPEDES in more zones, those own. Thanks.
Vallon poofed on us and his script bugged out, so we did the only thing common decency would dictate in this situation. That's right, we killed his brother. We'll get that homeo Vallon the next time the zone is repopped and the script is reset - for now just enjoy the pictures and the lewtz. Very appropriate for the encounter IMO.
 
Anyways aside from the Zek kills, we had a horrible day. In order to key up for the Bastion of Thunder, I made the guild go to the massive shitpile of a zone known as the Plane of Storms.
First of all, I don't mind mobs mitigating slow. What I do mind are mobs that are pure assrape, in a TIER TWO zone that put every mob I've encountered in Tier 2.5/3 zones to shame mitigating slow. Enter the goddamn giant tribes.
Having to put my guild through these ridiculously retardedly overpowered mobs to get BoT keys ONCE is one thing, having to come back over and over and over and over again 15-20 more times to get them all keyed - that's just a load of shit I can't handle. I thought we left the timesinks to die with Luclin?
Anyways, this zone needs to be looked at and adjusted BADLY. There is a reason it's empty 99% of the time, save for raiding for damn keys. Most common mobs in Tier 2 zones don't hit for over 800, have crazy special abilities, and mitigate slow.
And now, a special letter to the Developers:
It's no secret, I have 'special' childrens in my guild. One could probably set their watch to the clusterfucks which would ensue if they were to be left to their own devices. Fortunately, I keep them on a leash most of the time. They're good kids and they do their jobs well. They got heart.
The problem is, I can't be online 24 hours a day, so once they're let off the leash.... chaos.
You mix 'Furor's Kids' with the Crypt of Decay and you end up having problems. We know we can kill Bertoxxulous. We want to kill Bertoxxulous. The problem is, we can't kill Bertoxxulous because everytime the trigger to do the event resets, one of my 'Kids' accidentally clicks the goddamn chair at the zone in and sets it off. OOPS!? Of course nobody fesses up, but since we're the only guild in CoD, I know it's us!
I know, I know, I've told them the Chair isn't the zone out a hundred times. They know it isn't the zone out. You have to remember: They are 'SPECIAL' childrens.
FoH isn't the only guild with retards. Retards are all over the damn place. They infest every server. Shit you don't even have to be a retard to screw up this event, it's very easy to misclick the chair if you're just standing around near the back of the room. Also, this is a great way for one guild to grief another guild. Constantly blowing the ring, disallowing others the content. One word: Gay. One more word: STAMPEDE! Those own.
To summarize. Put a trigger down there with a XXX repop. Either make it a 'kill-to-start' trigger, a 'hand-in-shit-to-start' trigger, or a 'hail-shit-to-start' trigger - whatever, FFS just make it a trigger that doesn't feed off retardation and accidents.
