An unfortunate smelting accident ruined most of the stuff I had made, so you're only going to get a light update today.

My friends, we live in the golden age of raid griefing. Somewhere at Blizzard, there's a designer I owe a pizza. His first top 20 hit, was the Piccolo of the Flaming Fire. Not to let us down on his later albums, like The Vines did, he released what I thought was the golden-god of all raid griefing, the illustrious Toy Train Set. THEN, I see people wiping folks with booze, What's next? I thought? An item you can set on top of loot boxes to Teleport people to black rock depths? EXACTLY.

In the boredom that accompanies steamrolling an expansion in one week, our boys have been doing dungeon achievements lately.

The fun is obviously in crafting the strategy, and by that I mean: "The Creative Application of In-Game Mechanics." And by that..I mean:







We've also had a lot of arena teams rise and then burn in a torrent of cocaine and hookers. I think I'll post some more on that next time.

The theme of this expansion is "Old FoHers making a come back." Phil, Harfle, Nino.. Shit, If I could get Fung, Mezzdat and Fattyfat back in the mix, we'd go camp rubicite breastplates, in our tighty whities.

The best part of the come-back isn't just the lovely personalities they all contribute, it's watching them die because we don't explain fights.

So I finally got tricked into trying 3 drakes. Zargath told me we were going to farm Earthshakers but when I got summoned, all I saw were lava waves and enough void zones to give nightmares about walking to the bathroom.

We pretty much put the stomp on this cat on our first try with a competent group. FOH was formed back in UO, and we've long honored the traditional UO looting system of "He who loots fastest, needs most."

As a side note, Triple Negative Z team did 1 Drake 25 man Sarth this week. I'd just like to point out, that my 60 year old dad attended this raid and despite driving with the ARROW KEYS, he managed to live through the entire fight, unlike some of our "A team" members, cough.

OH! Speaking of PVPness, ye olden honor grind is back, and this time it brought it's ugly friend, "Imbalances Favoring Alliance Gamers." or I-FAG for short. Negatives aside, it's nice that the name is a tribute to DoTA.

Now, Grinding honor after I've gotten proper rating for my Arena gear is pretty lame, then having to pay more honor for the higher requirement gear is increasingly lame, but does it really have to look like complete shit?




Anyways, with enough Afkrathi Basin "I'll cover farm!" and Strand of the Afkcients "I'm on Guns at Yellow Gate!" the honor blues will pass. So, on to more important things, like torturing people.

I always look forward to my daily Violet Hold run with my trans-sister Kariela, who has been trying hard to aquire the trinket from Lavathor, Magmadar's lispy cousin. At this point I have a massive screenshot collection of hilarious swearing out of both the Portal Opener and poor Lavathor, however, I'm too lazy to crop it all at the moment, so I think I'll go with the "Gatewatch" method:
